Website access and hosting
The website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. We use IONOS for the domain and email, not as the website host. Accessing a website involves processing connection data such as IP address, time, requested resource, and browser or device information to deliver pages and protect operation. Under the ChatGPT Sites Data Processing Addendum, OpenAI Ireland Ltd. acts as a processor of hosted personal data for hosting, maintenance and support. Our basis for providing and securing the website is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information about processing by the hosting platform is set out in the linked addendum.
Contact and quote requests
When you submit the form, we process your name, email address, optional company name, selected delivery country and message. A quote request from the calculator also includes selected products, quantities, unit and line prices, goods subtotal, discount and total excluding VAT. Modelled time savings, their monetary equivalent and illustrative benefits are not transferred. The form also sends a language marker and subject; the email address is set as the reply address. Data is sent to Form.taxi only after you press “Send enquiry”. We process requests and pre-contract steps under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and general communications under our legitimate interest in responding (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Recipients and email
Form.taxi — Reinhard Söllradl, Brandstatt 9, 4070 Eferding, Austria — processes form submissions under a data processing agreement. Form.taxi also stores the sender’s IP address, browser identifier, and submission date and time for delivery, spam prevention and traceability. A notification with the enquiry content is sent to sales@smart-call-systems.com. We use IONOS Mail Basic 1 from IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, to receive, send and store email. A submission retained at Form.taxi and a notification stored in our IONOS mailbox are separate records.
Data in your browser
Both calculators compute prices and illustrative values in your browser. Calculator inputs are not continually saved to a server or browser storage. Only when you select “Request a quote” is the selected device quantity stored in sessionStorage for transfer to the contact form. The contact form saves name, email, optional company, delivery country and message as a draft in sessionStorage so that entries survive page changes and an updated kit does not erase your comment. After confirmed successful submission, the draft and saved selection are removed from sessionStorage. If sending fails, entries remain for another attempt. Browser session restore may retain sessionStorage data, so closing a tab is not an unconditional deletion guarantee. Language is not saved in localStorage or sessionStorage. The website does not create its own cookies or localStorage entries for these functions. The hosting infrastructure uses the “__cf_bm” cookie to detect automated traffic. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Other content and services
The site uses fonts available on your device as specified in its CSS; images and the product video load from files served with this website. The video is not embedded from an external video platform. We do not use our own analytics tools such as Google Analytics, externally hosted webfonts or other form integrations on these pages. Processing by the hosting platform is governed by its terms.
Retention
We retain ordinary enquiries while needed to handle them and any related correspondence. Afterwards we delete them unless statutory retention duties apply or continued storage is needed to establish, exercise or defend claims. Records of completed orders may be subject to separate legal retention requirements. According to Form.taxi, form submissions remain in its archive for a maximum of one year and are then automatically deleted; submissions classified as spam are deleted after one month. These periods do not apply to the separate emails in our IONOS mailbox.
International transfers
According to the ChatGPT Sites Data Processing Addendum, OpenAI Ireland Ltd. may transfer hosted data outside the EEA or Switzerland. It identifies adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses as safeguards. For details of platform data flows, see the linked addendum and its subprocessor information.
Your rights and complaints
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing. Contact us at the email address above. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
